Located in Burgundy, the LOGIVIA company is a transporter and a long-standing partner of the VRAC PLUS group.

For several months now, LOGIVIA has been involved in a "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)" approach, thus contributing to the challenges of sustainable development within companies. Actors in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, LOGIVIA's main customers, have been working on these issues for several years.

Mr. Sylvain Baudry, director of LOGIVIA, explains how VRAC PLUS tanks have helped him in the implementation of the CSR approach within his company.

"To accompany this approach, we have launched the ECO-LOGIVIA programme: some of our trucks already run on OLEO 100, a biofuel made from COLZA, or on bioGnv. VRAC PLUS tankers also participate in this project in several ways. In addition to the extraction by scraping screws, which favours the empty weight, we have chosen to operate the equipment of our semi-trailers with the tractor's power take-off, just like the tanks on carrier chassis. The payload maximised by this configuration allows us to transport more but also to save fuel. Another important point is that the lower centre of gravity of the VRAC PLUS tankers also improves the driving conditions for the drivers.

At the social level, in order to facilitate the driver's job and to improve working conditions during deliveries to farms, several VRAC PLUS innovations have been adopted by LOGIVIA.

The vast majority of our fleet is now equipped withe-silo automation," says Sylvain Baudry. The ergonomics of the e-silo touch screen makes it easier to train our drivers. Thanks to the automatic regulation of the screws, the automation optimises the delivery rate. The operation of the tanker is easy and the whole cycle is started with a few buttons on the screen. After 7 years of use, the reliability of this product is beyond question.

LOGIVIA equips its tanks with QR CODE traceability. This innovation is the result of a close collaboration between VRAC PLUS and LOGIVIA.

Mr Baudry says a few words about it:

"The QR CODE traceability is interesting for our structure. In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in his choices at each stage of delivery. This process is ideal for us, because this traceability is simple and quick to implement in the farms. The benefits are immediate: simplification of deliveries and limitation of delivery errors.
