The VRAC PLUS group (TSCI – GUILLONNEAU) offers an innovative and complete solution, called e-silo, implemented using a latest generation automated system with exclusive features.

 

With over 200 tankers equipped, the silo solution is now the benchmark in the livestock feed market. This solution satisfies both users and factory clients in terms of its ease of use and its added value in route tracking.

 

Automating the unloading of the tank

 

The 10" industrial touchscreen allows control of deliveries through a synoptic view of the tank and supervision of equipment (mechanical and pneumatic delivery).

The e-silo program is very ergonomic, intuitive, and easy to use. At a glance, the driver understands the progress of their delivery.

 

The touchscreen is an industrial capacitive screen manufactured by a world leader in automation. Its products are known for their robustness and long service life.

A complete operations history provides tracking of all delivery events: including the date and time compartments were opened and closed, as well as the start and end times of the 'All in Silo' cleaning process. Preventive maintenance plan tracking is also available.

The automatic screw regulation option is an intelligent and exclusive VRAC PLUSfeature, designed to optimize delivery throughput.

The automated system can communicate with the factory to transmit information via a telecommunications module. VRAC PLUS teams can also perform remote access and technical diagnostics.

Securing deliveries between the factory and the farmer's silo

 

Traceability between the feed mill and the farm is often the weakest link in the supply chain. The security module addresses these traceability requirements.

 

RFID traceability

 

After the tanker is loaded, the automated system communicates with the factory to transmit a delivery route plan. The operator can then monitor the progress of their route directly on the touchscreen.

Deliveries are secured with the option of silo identification via RFID chips (European patent). Tracking can also be combined with a GPS beacon.

At the end of the route, the automated system can provide a route report with detection of delivery non-conformities.

 

Traceability QR CODE

 

VRAC PLUS also offers a traceability system via QR code for bulk deliveries.

The starting point is the delivery note generated at the factory. This note contains a QR code with the delivery information (name of the farm, silo(s), product(s) and compartment(s) to be delivered).

Once at the farm, the driver scans the QR code on the delivery slip and the QR code of the silo to be delivered, in order to authorize the delivery of the corresponding compartment. The delivery is made automatically thanks to the e-silo system – 10" touchscreen.

At the end of the delivery, a QR code is generated by the onboard automation system. This QR code records all the events that occurred, which can be retrieved by the factory logistics department.

This innovation is ideal for factories or carriers looking for a simple and quick-to-implement traceability system. This project is the result of close collaboration between VRAC PLUS and the carrier LOGIVIA.

Finally, it is possible to install QR CODE or RFID traceability on tanks already equipped with the e-silo module.

In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in their choices, in order to simplify deliveries and limit delivery errors.
