The VRAC PLUS group (TSCI – GUILLONNEAU) offers an innovative and complete offer, called e-silo, implemented using a latest generation automaton with exclusive characteristics.

 

With more than 200 equipped tanks, the silo offer is today the benchmark on the livestock feed market. This offer satisfies users and factory contractors both in terms of its ease of use and its added value in route monitoring.

 

Automation of tank unloading

 

The 10'' industrial touch screen allows you to control deliveries thanks to a synoptic view of the tank and supervision of the equipment (mechanical and pneumatic delivery).

The e-silo program is very ergonomic, intuitive and easy to use. In the blink of an eye, the driver understands the progress of his delivery.

 

The touch screen is a capacitive type industrial screen manufactured by the world leader in automation ( Eaton ). Its products are recognized for their robustness and longevity of use.

A complete history of operations provides tracking of all delivery events: knowing the date and time of opening and closing of compartments as well as the start/end of 'Everything in the Silo' cleaning. Monitoring of the preventive maintenance plan is also available.

The automatic screw regulation option is an intelligent and exclusive VRAC PLUSfeature, to optimize delivery throughput.

The automaton has the possibility of communicating with the factory for the transmission of this information via a telecommunications module. The VRAC PLUS teams can also carry out remote technical support and diagnosis.

Securing deliveries between the factory and the breeder's silo

 

Traceability between the feed factory and the farm is often the weak link in the logistics chain. The security module meets these traceability requirements.

 

RFID traceability

 

After loading the tank, the automation communicates with the factory, in order to transmit a tour plan. The operator can thus follow the progress of his tour directly on the touch screen.

Deliveries are secure with the possibility of silo recognition using RFID chips (European patent). Tracking can also be coupled using a GPS beacon.

At the end of the tour, the machine can provide a tour report with detection of non-conformities in delivery.

 

Traceability QR CODE

 

VRAC PLUS also offers a traceability system via QR CODE for bulk deliveries.

The starting point is the delivery note generated at the factory. This voucher contains a QR CODE with delivery information (farm name, silo(s), product(s) and compartment(s) to be delivered).

Once on the farm, the driver scans the QR CODE of the delivery note and the QR CODE of the silo to be delivered, in order to authorize delivery of the corresponding compartment. Delivery is done automatically using the e-silo system – 10'' touch screen.

At the end of delivery, a QR code is generated by the on-board machine. This QR CODE traces all events that have occurred, recoverable by factory logistics.

This innovation is ideal for factories or transporters looking for a simple and quick to implement traceability system. This project is also the result of close collaboration between VRAC PLUS and the transporter LOGIVIA.

Finally, it is possible to install QR CODE or RFID traceability on tanks already equipped with the e-silo module.

In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in his choices, in order to simplify deliveries and limit delivery errors.
