For several months, LOGIVIA has been engaged in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, thus contributing to the challenges of sustainable development within companies. Stakeholders in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, LOGIVIA's main clients, have been mobilizing around these issues for several years.

Mr. Sylvain Baudry, director of LOGIVIA, explains how the VRAC PLUS tanks helped him in implementing the CSR approach within his company.

“To support this approach, we launched the ECO-LOGIVIA program: Some of our trucks already run on OLEO 100, a biofuel derived from rapeseed, or on bio-CNG. The VRAC PLUS tankers also contribute to this project in several ways. In addition to the screw conveyor extraction system, which reduces the empty weight, we have chosen to power the equipment on our semi-trailers with the tractor's power take-off, just like the tankers on carrier chassis. The maximized payload of this configuration allows us to transport more while also saving fuel. Another important point: the lower center of gravity of the VRAC PLUS tankers also improves driving conditions for drivers.”

At the social level, in order to facilitate the job of driver and improve working conditions during deliveries to livestock farms, several VRAC PLUS innovations have been adopted by LOGIVIA.

“QR code traceability is beneficial for our organization. In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in their choices at each stage of delivery. This process is ideal for us because this traceability is simple and quick to implement on farms. The benefit is immediate: simplified deliveries and reduced delivery errors.”.
