For several months, the company LOGIVIA has embarked on a “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)” approach, thus contributing to the challenges of sustainable development within companies. Players in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, LOGIVIA's main customers, have been mobilizing around these issues for several years.

Mr. Sylvain Baudry, director of LOGIVIA, explains to us how VRAC PLUS tanks helped him implement the CSR approach within his company.

“To support this approach, we have launched the ECO-LOGIVIA program: Some of our trucks already run on OLEO 100, a biofuel made from COLZA or bioGnv. VRAC PLUS tankers also participate in this project in several ways. In addition to the extraction by scraper screws which favors the empty weight, we have chosen to operate the equipment of our semi-trailers with the power take-off of the tractor in the same way as tanks on supporting chassis. The payload maximized by this configuration allows you to transport more but also save fuel. Another important point: the lowered center of gravity of VRAC PLUS tankers also improves driving conditions for drivers. »

On a social level, in order to facilitate the job of driver and improve working conditions during deliveries to livestock farms, several VRAC PLUS innovations have been adopted by LOGIVIA.

“The vast majority of our fleet is today equipped with e-silo automation ,” says Sylvain Baudry. The ergonomics of the e-silo touch screen facilitates the training of our drivers. Thanks to automatic screw regulation, automation optimizes delivery throughput. Operating the tank is easy and the entire cycle is started with just a few touches on the screen. After 7 years of use, the reliability of this product no longer needs to be demonstrated. »

LOGIVIA equips its tanks with QR CODE traceability. This innovation is also the result of close collaboration between VRAC PLUS and LOGIVIA.

Mr. Baudry tells us a few words about it:

“QR CODE traceability is interesting for our structure. In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in his choices at each stage of delivery. This process is ideal for us, because this traceability is simple and quick to implement on farms. The benefit is immediate: simplification of deliveries and limitation of delivery errors.”
