Every day, animal feed production units focus their efforts on producing the high-quality feed needed for our livestock. The VRAC PLUSgroup, through its bodywork companies TSCI and Guillonneau, has always worked to ensure that the tankers distributing animal feed are an extension of these factories. The benefits are numerous: preserving the nutritional quality of the feed available to farmers, improving the zootechnical performance of their livestock, and ensuring healthy animals.

 

For over 30 years, VRAC PLUS has continuously improved its tank body designs. The entire food transport process within the tank is thus designed to guarantee its preservation and integrity.

 

• The compartments are completely unobstructed, with external gas struts. Food retention areas are minimal, facilitating cleaning after delivery. This VRAC PLUS design eliminates the risk of contamination from mechanical components due to the absence of contact with the food. Finally, access to the mechanical components is easy, at a convenient height, for maintenance operations.
•  The hatches ensure a seal between the compartments and the extraction system, thus reducing the risk of inter-batch transfer. Furthermore, Teflon has been incorporated into the design of these components to minimize the need for certain maintenance operations.
•  The product extraction system using scraper screws – exclusive VRAC PLUS – consists of an open trough with a Teflon-coated bottom. Since 2018, we have increased the screw diameter, ensuring a high delivery rate while reducing the screw speed. This preserves the integrity of the feed. Compared to pressurized tank systems, mechanical conveying also prevents the separation of feed or mash.
• The TDS (All-in-the-Silo) cleaning fan expels residues at the end of each delivery for thorough cleaning of feed passage areas. The effectiveness of TDS cleaning is recognized by our customers and by TECALIMAN.
• The automation of e-silo deliveries with automatic regulation of extraction screws allows for optimization of extraction speed throughout the delivery.
• Securing deliveries using QR CODE or RFID modules makes it possible to meet traceability requirements between the factory and the farm.
