Daily, animal nutrition production units concentrate their efforts to produce quality feed necessary for the animals on our farms. The VRAC PLUSgroup, supported by its TSCI and Guillonneau bodies, has always worked to ensure that the tanks distributing animal nutrition are the continuation of these factories. The benefit is multiple: the preservation of the nutritional qualities of the food made available to farmers, the zootechnical performance of their livestock and healthy animals.

 

For more than 30 years, VRAC PLUS has continued to develop its bodies. The entire journey of the food in the tank is thus designed to guarantee its conservation and integrity.

 

• The compartments are completely clear, with cylinders on the outside. Food retention areas are minimal, facilitating cleaning at the end of delivery. This VRAC PLUS design eliminates the risk of pollution by mechanical components in the absence of contact with the food. Finally, access to the mechanical components is facilitated, at eye level, for maintenance operations.
•  The hatches guarantee sealing between the compartments and the extraction, thus reducing the risk of inter-batch transfer. In addition, “Teflon” was used in the design of these components, in order to avoid certain maintenance operations.
•  The extraction of the product by scraping screws – exclusive to VRAC PLUS – consists of an open trough, with a “Teflon” bottom. Since 2018, we have increased the diameter of the screws, guaranteeing a high delivery rate while reducing their rotation speed. Thus, the integrity of the food is preserved. Compared to pressurized tank systems, mechanical conveying also makes it possible to avoid “de-mixing” of food or mash food.
• The TDS (Everything in the Silo) cleaning fan expels residues at the end of delivery for complete cleaning of food passage areas. The TDS cleaning efficiency is also recognized by our customers and by TECALIMAN.
• The automation of e-silo deliveries with automatic regulation of the extraction screws makes it possible to optimize the extraction speed throughout the delivery.
• Securing deliveries using the QR CODE or RFID module makes it possible to meet traceability requirements between the factory and the farm.
