Our radio controls are evolving!
Animal feed transport vehicles have evolved in every aspect. Let's go back a few years… The early users will surely tell you – with a big smile – all the anecdotes about their deliveries. For example, they had to manually turn the unloading auger using a rope, then lift it with a crank to position it in the silo!
Today, all our bodywork systems are equipped with a wireless remote control. All the functions of your equipment – whether the body is mounted on a rigid truck or a semi-trailer – are controlled via this device, which has become indispensable over the years, with the following main functions:
- The operation of the silo screw,
- The screw start/stop function with automatic time delay upon restart
- The LED work lights will switch on,
- Remote acceleration,
- Starting the auxiliary motor (if present),
- Axle orders for a semi-trailer.
The driver benefits from increased comfort during daily operations. Safety is enhanced, and visibility of the work environment is improved thanks to the rearward positioning. As a result, the conditions for delivering livestock feed are significantly improved.
Installed on our bodywork for a few months now, the latest generation of radio control is even more innovative.
Upon power-up, an automatic frequency search is performed between the remote control and the body to ensure optimal communication. It is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, increasing its operating time. Finally, the ergonomics have been completely redesigned to enhance ease of use, particularly when installing the silo auger.
VRAC PLUS is constantly improving the operation of its equipment while placing safety at the heart of its concerns.
