Bourasseau transport: a family affair for 40 years!
The story begins in 1982 when Maurice Bourasseau, with his transport capacity certificate in hand, set out on the roads of Vendée.
Today, the 2nd generation made up of its four sons (Jérôme and Thierry, Vincent and Frédéric) is at the helm of the company and continues its development. It has since specialized in the transport of animal nutrition on behalf of local manufacturers and factories for deliveries to the great west.
“Guillonneau bodywork – from the VRAC PLUS group – has been supporting us in this growth for several years. The technical contacts, stores and operators listen to us, know our specifications and our needs. We have built a true relationship of partnership and trust for regular constructive exchanges. »
Certain specific features of the company's semi-trailers make it possible to achieve a payload of 28.5 tonnes:
- Adaptation of the bodywork, rear trunk and length in relation to the specifications,
- Driven by hydraulic power unit on the tractor,
- Extraction by scraper screws diameter 190 mm,
- Installation of Alcoa Dura Bright aluminum rims.

Our client highlights the developments made to our bodies in recent years:
- LED work lights improve visibility during nighttime deliveries.
- The new design of the front platform – wider – and the front steps for access to the side gangway improve safety and make movements more fluid.
- The 3-position control station door allows it to be adapted to the user's height.
- The cameras positioned on the rear and on the silo screw improve safety during operational approaches. »
