Listening to its customers, VRAC PLUS is always looking for innovations. Last week, Mr. RECH, one of our transport clients from Aveyron, took delivery of a unique unit.

Our client, already equipped with a VRAC PLUStanker, was looking for an easy way to position the auger on their tanker without having to get in and out of their cab. The auger allows for easy feed transfer in livestock farming, and above all, at a high flow rate.

Thanks to the dialogue between the radio control and the electronic interface of the chassis, driving the vehicle is possible outside the cab: acceleration-deceleration, braking, parking brake, steering control, reverse, engagement of the power take-off… The positioning of the carrier is done in complete safety with respect to the external environment.

Our engineering department worked on the relay of the tank's functions: lifting, screw orientation, screw start/stop… All the functions already present on the standard remote control. This remote control complies with safety requirements and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, in particular the requirement for an emergency stop on the remote control.

The benefit for the driver is immediately noticeable: greater safety and ease of implementation.

With remote driving of a VOLVO truck, VRAC PLUS is the first French manufacturer to install this option on a bulk tanker.
