VRAC PLUS is a designer of tanks, but also of its semi-trailer chassis. These frames are custom made. We therefore control the entire project.

 

VRAC PLUS semi-trailers benefit from full European approval, allowing registration throughout Europe.

 

Our frames are made of high-end HLE (high elastic strength) steel, to ensure their robustness, despite the mechanical constraints encountered in our professions.

 

VRAC PLUS 3-axle semi-trailers are capable of transporting up to 29 tonnes of products (GVWR at 44 tonnes).

 

 

Axle configuration

 

SAF axles, installed on the majority of VRAC PLUSchassis, have an off-road warranty, 6 years / 1 million km. This warranty is for you a guarantee of the durability of your semi-trailer.

The axles on a 3-axle semi-trailer can adapt to your specific requests and operational constraints:

 

3rd ^axle :

For many years, this configuration has made it possible to reduce the wheelbase by raising the 3rd ^axle under load. This configuration makes it possible to combine economy, reduced maintenance costs and improved access to farms.

 

3rd ^steering axle:

This configuration reduces tire wear by limiting slipping of the 3rd ^axle .

 

3rd ^steered steering axle:

VRAC PLUS has been equipping semi-trailers with this device for over 20 years. It is a steering axle which can be steered using a hydraulic system. The 3rd ^axle can be steered from the cabin or from the radio control. This system further improves access to farms.

 

2nd and 3rd ^{V +} V steering axles:

VRAC PLUS is the only bulk tank manufacturer to offer and install this dual directional system for better maneuverability.

 

 

 

The wheels are hydraulically steered by electronic management. To collect information, a sensor on the fifth wheel measures the angular displacement between the tractor and the semi-trailer. Based on this measurement and depending on the speed of the semi-trailer, the orientation is optimized.

This orientation can be imposed with the radio control during difficult maneuvers.

 

A large selection of options

 

 

VRAC PLUS can also offer a 2-axle chassis with 2 steering axles.

To further facilitate this accessibility, all VRAC PLUS chassis are equipped with an up and down control. By acting on these controls, the mechanical suspension allows the chassis height to be raised by 8 cm. The STABILITY option for EBS boxes, present on our chassis, also increases driver safety.

Many options can be offered to you: galvanization of the chassis, innovative systems allowing consultation of information reported from the EBS, re-inflating of tires, ALCOA aluminum rims, etc.

 

Modular and customizable, VRAC PLUS also adapts the dimensions of the tank to your operating constraints and your specific requests. Our bodies adapt to your height, length and volume constraints.
