VRAC PLUS designs not only tanks but also their semi-trailer chassis. These chassis are custom-made, allowing us to control the entire project.

 

The VRAC PLUS semi-trailers benefit from full European type approval, allowing registration throughout Europe.

 

Our frames are made of high-grade HLE (high elastic resistance) steel to ensure robustness, despite the mechanical stresses encountered in our industry.

 

The 3-axle VRAC PLUS semi-trailers are capable of transporting up to 29 T of products (GVWR of 44 tonnes).

The SAF axles, fitted to the majority of VRAC PLUSchassis, come with a 6-year/1 million km off-road warranty. This warranty guarantees the durability of your semi-trailer.

The axles on a 3-axle semi-trailer can be adapted to your specific requirements and operational constraints:

 

3^ème essieu relevable :

Depuis de nombreuses années, cette configuration permet de réduire l’empattement en relevant le 3^ème essieu en charge. Cette configuration permet d’allier économie, coût réduit d’entretien et amélioration de l’accès aux élevages.

 

3^ème essieu suiveur :

Cette configuration permet de réduire l’usure des pneus, en limitant le ripage du 3^éme essieu.

 

3^ème essieu suiveur dirigé :

VRAC PLUS équipe les semi-remorques avec ce dispositif depuis plus de 20 ans. Il s’agit d’un essieu suiveur qui peut être dirigé grâce à un système hydraulique. Le 3^ème essieu est dirigeable à partir de la cabine ou à partir de la radio-commande. Ce système permet d’améliorer encore l’accès aux fermes.

 

2^ème et le 3^ème essieux directionnel V+V :

VRAC PLUS is the only bulk tank manufacturer to offer and install this dual directional system for improved maneuverability.

 

 

 

The wheels are hydraulically steered via electronic control. A sensor on the fifth wheel measures the angular displacement between the tractor and the semi-trailer to gather information. Based on this measurement and the semi-trailer's speed, the steering is optimized.

This orientation can be imposed with the radio control during difficult maneuvers.

 

A wide range of options

 

 

VRAC PLUS can also offer a 2-axle chassis with 2 steering axles.

To further facilitate accessibility, all VRAC PLUS chassis are equipped with a raise and lower control. By using these controls, the mechanical suspension allows the chassis height to be increased by 8 cm. The STABILITY option of the EBS control units, available on our chassis, also enhances driver safety.

Numerous options are available: chassis galvanization, innovative systems allowing access to EBS data, tire inflation, ALCOA aluminum rims…

 

Modular and customizable, VRAC PLUS also adapts the tank's dimensions to your operational constraints and specific requirements. Our bodies can be adapted to your height, length, and volume requirements.
