VRAC PLUS exhibits its know-how in Auvergne lands

VRAC PLUS group was present at the Livestock Summit from October 5 to 8, 2021 (Cournon d'Auvergne – Puy de Dôme 63). VRAC PLUS was on an outdoor location, to present a carrier and trailer with unique characteristics.

There were many meetings: it was a pleasure to see our clients again and above all to discuss their jobs and activities.

carrier + trailer assembly displayed was in the colors of the company JAMBON Alimentation Animale , a long-time customer of TSCI – VRAC PLUS .

JAMBON Animal Food is a company based in Murat and established in the Massif Central.

The JAMBON Animal Food had specific specifications. Mr Berthon, logistics manager, details some of its characteristics:

“We are developing our activity around Cantal and have had the carrier + trailer project for several years. This hitch had to be best suited to our activity and our region.

VRAC PLUS had extensive experience in trailer . One of our requests was to have a silo screw model on the trailer identical to the carrier. This configuration will allow us to deliver in screw while remaining harnessed in breeding. By placing the carrier parallel to the trailer, we can also load the trailer compartments into the carrier. This is a logistical gain: the wearer can go solo and access difficult places.

Another request was to have e-silo automation on the tanks, identical to previous body vehicles. VRAC PLUS had not yet developed this module on its trailers. »

The e-silo offer is implemented using an on-board controller equipped with a 10'' industrial touch screen. Particularly ergonomic, the driver sees the progress of his delivery in the blink of an eye and controls the smooth running of deliveries thanks to a very intuitive interface.

Géraud Serre, operational manager of the Jambon group, explains:

“E-silo automation facilitates the use of tanks and allows us to have the history of deliveries (time stamp of opening and closing of hatches, cleaning Everything in the silo).

We have created an organic food activity in Cantal. In these sectors, food traceability is essential. It's even more important with 9 compartments! »

Finally, the icing on the cake, the total payload is approaching 26 tonnes thanks to the scraper screw configuration, VRAC PLUS exclusivity and an optimization of the design.

Throughout the 4 days, many customers and visitors were impressed by this set, particularly well showcased in the aisles of the show.
