A tailor-made semi-trailer for Tarisien transport

At the beginning of this summer, we welcomed Jimmy Tarisien, a professional in bulk transport of animal nutrition in the Vendée, on the occasion of the delivery of his new 3-axle semi-trailer to the VRAC PLUS - TSCI site in Plélo (22).

The story began more than 14 years ago, when Jimmy Tarisien joined the company of his uncle Jacques Marolleau, then head of Val d'Argent transport in the Vendée.

"I started with a VRAC PLUS - Guillonneau semi-trailer when I was an employee in my uncle's company. For my first new semi-trailer in bulk animal nutrition, I naturally trusted the VRAC PLUS manufacturer that I knew, and with whom I had already worked for several years.

The VRAC PLUS teams worked closely with Jimmy, and equipped his trailer with a large diameter auger extraction system - exclusive to the VRAC PLUS group. This configuration allows him to have a large tank volume, a lower centre of gravity and an optimised tare weight.

With his tractor attached, Jimmy's road unit has a payload of almost 28 tonnes!

"To make my trailer independent of my tractor, I opted for a PERKINS auxiliary engine drive. This water-cooled engine complies with the Stage V standard and is less polluting.

With an optimised payload, more transported volume and a less polluting engine, the semi-trailer

bulk is now more environmentally friendly by carrying more and delivering better.

In order to meet the specifications of the factories in which he works, the order station has been equipped with a delivery report. Jimmy Tarisien can thus meet the QUALIMAT requirements with traceability of unloading events.

Jimmy also wanted a trailer in his own colours. "The VRAC PLUS teams understood and responded to my request, and designed a unique trailer that met my expectations. The VRAC PLUS teams understood and responded to my request, and designed a unique semi-trailer that met my expectations."

The gVRAC PLUS welcomes Jimmy Tarisien's personal initiative: the rear of the trailer is in the colour of the association "La Chevauchée arc-en-ciel".

This association was created in Juline's memory, in order to collect donations to help research into treatments for paediatric cancers and to offer moments of happiness to children in palliative care. An action that we can only honour.

Do not hesitate to follow the actions of the association on social networks and give it your support.
