VRAC PLUS for breeders in Belgium
The VRAC PLUS group (TSCI – GUILLONNEAU) has been present on the Belgian market for many years.
In Belgium, the use of VRAC PLUS mechanical systems for the bulk transport of livestock feed is developing compared to pressurized tanks. The advantages of these systems are in fact numerous: screw delivery rate, large roof opening, preservation of product integrity, etc.
For more than 10 years, Frédéric Aernoudt has been transporting animal nutrition with these systems in the Chimay region.

In particular, the For Farmers factory, for which he works, asks him to deliver a lot of granulated or flaked food to a blower (pneumatic equipment).
“For my business, we installed a large volume oil sluice and an oil cooler on the semi-trailer. The large lock allows for an optimized flow. The oil cooler allows you to gain efficiency, the oil heats up less when delivering large blower batches. Finally, the mechanical system avoids the unmixing that is usually found with pressurized tanks.”
Mr. Aernoudt chose a semi-trailer with an auxiliary engine. The auxiliary engine installed allows it to have a semi-trailer independent of its tractor. All functions are on the radio control : the functions of the tank (orientation of the silo screw, stopping, restarting of the auxiliary motor and screws, switching on of the work lights) but also that of the chassis (1st lifting axle and 3 th steering axle). These functions are very ergonomic and allow great responsiveness during maneuvers.
VRAC PLUS semi-trailer is also a guarantee of reliability and durability over time : “I have only one active vehicle: I am not allowed to have it immobilized for a long time. I know the VRAC PLUS after-sales service : the team is always available for advice on maintenance or monitoring of my equipment. By telephone, the technician can identify my semi-trailer and knows exactly the part I need.”
Mr. Aernoudt also emphasizes one last point. “ VRAC PLUS took great care in finishing the tank . It is the brand image of my company and also very important to the company I work for. I am therefore very proud to travel the Belgian roads with this new set.”
