The VRAC PLUS group (T.S.C.I. - GUILLONNEAU) proposes an innovative and complete offer, called e-silo, implemented thanks to a last generation automaton with exclusive characteristics.

 

With more than 200 tankers equipped, the silo offer is now the reference on the cattle feed market. This offer satisfies users and factory principals both in terms of its ease of use and its added value in the monitoring of rounds.

The 10'' industrial touch screen allows the control of the deliveries thanks to a synoptic of the tank and the supervision of the equipment (mechanical and pneumatic delivery).

The e-silo programme is very ergonomic, intuitive and easy to use. In the blink of an eye, the driver understands the status of his delivery.

 

The touch screen is a capacitive industrial display manufactured by the world leader in automation(Eaton). Its products are renowned for their robustness and long service life.

A complete history of operations provides tracking of all delivery events: date and time of opening and closing of compartments as well as start/end of 'Everything in the Silo' cleaning. A preventive maintenance plan is also available.

The automatic screw control option is an intelligent and exclusive VRAC PLUS feature to optimise the delivery rate.

The PLC has the possibility to communicate with the factory for the transmission of this information via a telecommunication module. VRAC PLUS teams can also perform remote control and technical diagnosis.

Securing deliveries from the factory to the farmer's silo

 

Traceability between the feed mill and the farm is often the weak link in the supply chain. The security module meets these traceability requirements.

 

RFID tracking

 

After loading the tanker, the PLC communicates with the factory to transmit a tour plan. The operator can then follow the progress of his tour directly on the touch screen.

Deliveries are secured with the possibility of silo recognition by R.F.I.D. chips (European patent). Tracking can also be coupled with a GPS beacon.

At the end of the tour, the robot can provide a tour report with detection of non-conformities.

 

QR CODE traceability

 

VRAC PLUS also offers a traceability system via QR CODE for bulk deliveries.

The starting point is the delivery note generated at the factory. This delivery note contains a QR CODE with the delivery information (name of the farm, silo(s), product(s) and compartment(s) to be delivered).

Once in the farm, the driver scans the QR CODE of the delivery note and the QR CODE of the silo to be delivered, in order to authorize the delivery of the corresponding compartment. The delivery is done automatically thanks to the e-silo system - 10'' touch screen.

At the end of the delivery, a QR code is generated by the on-board automaton. This QR CODE traces all the events that have occurred, which can be retrieved by the factory logistics.

This innovation is ideal for factories or transporters who are looking for a traceability system that is simple and quick to implement. This project is the result of a close collaboration between VRAC PLUS and the carrier LOGIVIA.

Finally, it is possible to install QR CODE or RFID tracking on tanks already equipped with the e-silo module.

In use, these traceability systems guide the operator in his choices, in order to simplify deliveries and limit delivery errors.
